Spain-based Acciona is a leader in the development and management of infrastructure, renewable energy, and water and services. They’re also a happy ClickSoftware customer, and produced a video showing how they use ClickSoftware’s field service scheduling and dispatch solution to support the maintenance and improvement of the water and sewage system in Lima, Perù, which serves more than four and a half million people.

Using ClickSoftware, Acciona now has a comprehensive system that manages the reception, allocation and settlement of the work orders in a planned and efficient way. The video shows how the company has transitioned from a manual and paper-based system, with many inefficiencies caused by the lack of live information and coordination between the dispatcher and the field technicians, to a new, automated solution based on ClickSoftware. This system allows dispatchers, field technicians and their customers to have complete and real-time information on the status of their jobs.

This project has delivered a number competitive advantages to Acciona including an improvement in performance which was driven by the ability to plan based on priorities, real-time tracking and the availability of operational data for in-depth analysis.
