What to Expect at SAP SAPPHIRE NOW Madrid
Author: Kate Cartwright
Even as I personally celebrate 12 years of association with SAP this is only my fourth SAPPHIRE NOW, the second in Madrid and with ClickSoftware, and the first that I have been actively involved in organising activities with my colleagues from ClickSoftware.
This year we look forward to meeting with our customers, partners and friends, presenting a series of RoundTables and MicroForums to showcase our solutions through our reference customers, as well as offering a demonstration in the Partner Center.
ClickSoftware will be showcasing its award winning and market leading Workforce Management solutions, sold through SAP as ‘SAP Workforce Scheduling and Optimization’ (SAP WS&O) by ClickSoftware.
Our portfolio of solutions creates proven business value through higher levels of productivity, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. By incorporating customer demand forecasting, long and short term capacity planning, shift planning, real-time scheduling, mobility and location-based services, as well as on-going customer communication, we are able to provide customers a scalable, and flexible end-to-end enterprise solution.
Key benefits of SAP WS&O include reduced costs, increased customer satisfaction, improved productivity and the option to manage employee preferences along with any industry regulations and respective legislation. ClickSoftware’s enterprise solutions globally manage almost 300,000 resources in service businesses from over 200 customers across a variety of industries. Some of our joint customers with SAP include National Grid, Anglian Water, Alliander and Caprabo.
As much as we use these occasions to highlight and proclaim the ground-breaking developments in our own world of application software, SAPPHIRE NOW provides a vital opportunity for us to get up to speed with the creativity and innovation shown by SAP in its development and deployment of their enterprise solution along with Solution Extensions and systems integration partners for the benefit of our customers. This year the developments across SAP HANA, Cloud and Mobility will dominate the event, inspiring and entertaining us all.
As well as the annual chance to immerse ourselves in all that is SAP and to learn about the latest solutions, and to develop and close business, it is also a chance to create and renew friendships. Many of us have a history of association and whilst we may not be in the same role, the same company or with the same team we are still part of the extended family; interested in extending business together and providing the value that our customers expect and require.
For me, these are exciting times for ClickSoftware. Europe may have been hit by economic recession but we are still seeing interest in our solutions where we can drive efficiency in the service business and help cut those all-important costs whilst still maintaining the levels of service that customers expect from their suppliers. Along with SAP we are moving into exciting new territories in emerging countries.
We have excellent stories to share so if you are interested in learning more from one of our major global SAP WS&O customers, Serco will be presenting their deployment of the solution in a MicroForum on Thursday 15th November, from 13.00 to 13.45 pm in the “Meet our Customers” Pavilion. Our guest from Serco, Emma Newman Global Lead for Roster, will also be hosting a Round Table on Tuesday 13th November at 14:00.
For a demonstration of the solution please join us in the Partner Center demo area at 15:30 on Wednesday 15th November and we also hope to have some exciting news about further activities – so please watch the agenda!
For a more individual experience come and visit us on Stand 1015 in the Industry and Line of Business campus. To pre-book demonstrations and meetings with the Click team please contact me, Kate Cartwright on +44 7968 871957 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
