According to a new survey by iPass, 63 percent of mobile employees prefer a smartphone over a laptop as their primary mobile device.

Laptops perform better in many aspects but they fail to be easily portable and “personal” as smartphones.

Nearly two-thirds of mobile workers would prefer a smartphone over a laptop

While 32 percent of mobile employees ranked the BlackBerry smartphone as their mobile device of choice, 54 percent of BlackBerry smartphone users would switch to an Apple iPhone if it was supported by their enterprise.
