ClickRoster is designed to help service organizations optimally staff shifts of workers while taking into account applicable rules and regulations; demand coverage; cost; employee working preferences; and the need to balance undesirable shifts-i.e., weekends, holidays, etc.-among appropriate employees.
The application receives as input service demand and resource availability plans, which can come from ClickSoftware's ClickForecast and ClickPlan products, and optimally plans shifts for available workers in accordance with a company's strategic business goals. For example, a strategic goal may be to maximize demand coverage, minimize cost, or some combination of the two, and ClickRoster builds its shift plans in accordance with these goals.
ClickRoster is designed to be flexible enough to create rosters days, weeks, even months in advance, while also being capable of recalculating the roster dynamically based on last-minute input.
The ClickRoster application integrates seamlessly into ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization Suite, receiving input from ClickForecast and ClickPlan and exporting resulting shifts and calendars to ClickSchedule.
