ClickPlan ensures that an organization has just enough resources with the right skills in a given territory at the right time to have maximal demand coverage and resource utilization at minimal cost to the organization. The application receives as input demand forecasts, which can come directly from ClickSoftware's ClickForecast solution, and produces a gap analysis to identify where current capacity deviates from required capacity to meet the demand.
Once capacity shortages and/or overages are identified, ClickPlan then facilitates decision making on how best to close the gap. In doing so, the application considers many factors. These can include defining the right staffing level, temporary and/or permanent relocations, vacations/nonavailability, subcontractor usage, overtime usage, expected demand backlog, and more.
ClickPlan fully integrates with ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization Suite, taking service demand from ClickForecast and feeding resource capacity information into ClickRoster for use in shift planning and ClickSchedule for use in optimized scheduling.
