Mobile App Development Kit

Even with ClickMobile’s rich off the shelf functionality and the ability to extend it further with Mobility Studio, there are occasions in which mobile capabilities need to be extended even further. This Software Development Kit (SDK) provides developers with examples of additional Apps and other functionality that can be developed, and then plugged into ClickMobile.

These example Apps, along with their code samples provide an excellent basis from which any developer can use Visual Studio or other development environments to create code to accomplish a specific activity or take advantage of native functionality of any specific device(s).

Examples of Apps within the ClickMobile Development Kit include:

• Engineer Radar: An App which enables a mobile user to see other employees from the same company or group, in a radar format to provide a sense of distance from the user.

• Map Add-in: An App which enables a mobile user to see him or herself on a map, along with other business objects such as customer or asset locations, or a warehouse.

• File Transfer: An App which enables a mobile user to receive or send a file to the mobile server as part of another activity.
