Parts Execution

The Parts Execution App alleviates much of the parts management ‘headache’ for field resources, and in turn reduces the level of lost and stolen inventory including consumables, ordered parts, and pre-fabricated materials. While any enablement of parts tracking from the field brings value, the Parts Execution App enables better compliance and accuracy by automatically proposing the parts that are required for a job, by filtering the parts to select from according to the job requirements, and by receiving input from pre-populated and easy to use forms, RFID readers, or bar code scanners.

As the field resource starts work, parts required for the job are presented as requirements, minimizing return trips to the vehicle. If additional parts are required, they can be ordered directly from the mobile device, integrated with inventory and supply chain systems, improving response time and reducing materials procurement labor. As work is completed, the required parts are pre-populated with adjustable expected quantities so the field resources aren't forced to enter them manually from memory or from empty packing materials.

As a field resource receives parts into the vehicle inventory, he/she can use a bar code scanner or other input device to ensure that the company and the resource know exactly what he or she has. This also minimizes the time parts spend sitting in the depot or warehouse.
