ClickMobile is part of the Service Optimization suite of solutions, sharing a common security infrastructure with other ClickSoftware solutions based upon Microsoft’s Active Directory. User access, form and workflow layouts, as well as privileges, are all based on the resource's standard login- regardless of which device they log in from.

ClickMobile enables device management for windows-based mobile devices using pre-integration with Sybase Afaria. Sybase Afaria is a mobile device management and security application which can distribute, install, and update the ClickMobile Advanced client software on remote mobile devices such as hand-held computers and laptops. With a single procedure, updates are completed to ClickMobile on all mobile devices in an organization without requiring the ClickMobile user to perform any additional action. In addition, Afaria provides management to manage the security of the mobile devices, for example - to disable a stolen device.

Smartphones and tablets are even easier, and require even less effort to manage as updates to the application are made centrally to the web server – updates are automatically seen the next time the mobile user reloads the screen. Afaria becomes an option for companies who still wish to control, disable, or find mobile devices.

ClickMobile and its integrated mobility infrastructure offer device management and security which reflect and support the stringent requirements for security in enterprise mobility - regardless of if users come from inside the network, via the VPN, or via a public network. And although the devices can be located anywhere, those charged with managing the ever-growing and changing mobile user base never have to leave their administrative console.
