California Wildfire Updates

We continue to keep a very close eye on the situation in San Diego and are working closely with the hotel to ensure that no changes need to be made at this time. As it stands at this moment, the Coronado Island Resort is one of the safest places to be in all of San Diego County. The fires are in the far eastern and northern parts of the County and are out of site from the resort.
Reports are that the Santa Ana winds have to slow down and are expected to all but disappear on Thursday. "That will certainly aid in firefighting efforts," National Weather Service meteorologist Jamie Meier said. Authorities expect that the fires will be extinguished by Friday of this week if not sooner.
We will keep you informed as to the status of these fires as the week goes on. But we are continuing as planned and looking forward to our biggest and best event yet.
