ClickSoftware, the leading provider of automated workforce management and service optimization solutions, is seeking a driven Inside Sales professional to drive business development efforts in Australia and New Zealand. Candidates for this position should have a natural curiosity and intuitive ability to ask smart questions allowing you to easily identify potential new customers, and lay the foundation for building a regional pipeline. We are looking for someone with the ability to build relationships and gain trust over the phone and by email with professionals at all levels. This position is based in our Melbourne, Australia office.

Position Duties

  • Proactively pursue business-to-business lead generation through warm and cold call prospecting

  • Qualification and conversion of all leads

  • Identify contacts within target companies (employ effective account exploration and account mining tactics)

  • Provide excellent customer service (handle all incoming information requests and sales calls promptly).

  • Work within the Campaign Management system to identify target accounts

  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date with the software application suite of tools.

  • Keep regional Marketing Manager and AE’s informed of all activity, including keeping CRM system up to date with activity.

  • Pre-event calling and post-event follow up

  • Maintain accurate records (update information within contact management system/ database).

  • Prepare and distribute information packages.

  • Collect and qualify account and information according to the corporate key qualifiers.

  • Introducing this information into the lead management system (SFDC) and forwarding to the relevant team members.

  • Search for new leads through Internet, social media monitoring, subscriptions, new databases, partners, etc.

  • Analyze prospect activity in Marketo (Marketing Campaign Management System) and responding accordingly

  • Social Media Monitoring: Engaging with social media platforms, creating alerts on keywords, researching topics and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses.

Required Skills/Experiences

  • Outstanding communication, organizational, problem solving and self-motivational skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as make independent decisions.

  • A strong desire to succeed - tenacious, goal-oriented, persistent, with follow through.

  • Ability to communicate effectively on the phone.

  • Remain current on appropriate issues, products and services throughout ClickSoftware and have the ability to meet the challenges of a dynamic environment.

  • Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including Linked In, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools.

  • Understanding of CRM systems, ideally with or a similar CRM, is a plus.

  • College degree preferred.
