Moshe BenBassat
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Following a long and successful academic career with positions at USC, Tel Aviv University and UCLA, Professor BenBassat established himself as one of the world's leaders in the area of optimization and decision support software for a wide variety of applications. His research work was supported by DARPA (the U.S.’s Defense Advanced Research Project Agency); NIH (National Institute of Health); Ballistic Missile Defense Agency (via TRW); ARI (U.S. Army Research Institute); NASA; and NSF (National Science Foundation).
Professor BenBassat has published extensively in leading professional journals, led many executive training workshops, and has spoken at numerous industry events worldwide. In 1996 Professor BenBassat coined the term "service chain optimization" - as an analogy to supply chain optimization - and is considered the "guru" in this field.
ClickSoftware, which emerged in 1997 from the consulting practice of Prof. BenBassat, is focused on delivering software solutions for optimizing the entire service management chain. These include software products for service scheduling, equipment troubleshooting and repair support, resource and capacity optimization, analytics, and demand forecasting. Today ClickSoftware is the worldwide recognized leader in service chain optimization, with the largest number of proven deployed customers.
Hannan Carmeli
President & Chief Operating Officer
Before being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2006, Hannan held several executive positions at ClickSoftware, including VP for Professional Services and Executive VP for Field Operations. Prior to that, he served as VP and General Manager of the ClickFix Division. Before joining ClickSoftware in 1996, Hannan held various positions with software companies both on the technical side (project management, technical lead) as well as on the sales and marketing side (sales executive, product manager). Hannan holds a B.S. from the Technion Institute in Israel and an M.S. from Boston University.
Shmuel Arvatz
Chief Financial Officer
Shmuel joined ClickSoftware in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his current position at ClickSoftware, Shmuel served as the Chief Financial Officer at Shrem, Fudim, Kelner Technologies Ltd., a leading investment house in Israel. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: TCNO), a leading provider of software e-manufacturing solutions. Between 1990 and 1999, Shmuel served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at ADC Israel Ltd. (previously Teledata Communications Ltd.). Teledata Communications, a telecomm equipment provider, was acquired by ADC Telecom Inc., a multibillion-dollar company, in 1998. Shmuel holds a B.A. in accounting and economics from Bar-Ilan University.
Zvi Piritz
Senior VP, Worldwide Sales
Prior to his present position, Zvi served as VP of Sales Asia Pacific & Africa from October 2001. Prior to that, he served as Director of Asia Pacific Operations as well as Director of Product Marketing - ClickFix Division from January 1999. Before joining ClickSoftware, Zvi held various positions with software companies both on the operational side (project management, operations manager) as well as on the sales and marketing side. Zvi holds a B.A. in economics from Tel Aviv University, Israel and an M.B.A. from Fordham University, New York.
Israel Beniaminy
Senior VP, Product Strategy
Israel Beniaminy has led ClickSoftware’s EBO team since 2005, after serving as VP of Product Strategy since 1998. From 1986 until he 1998, he served in various technological positions in ClickSoftware, including R&D Manager and Technology Director. Israel was also responsible for creating ClickSoftware's Quality Procedures and achieving ClickSoftware's ISO-9001 certification. Prior to 1986, he participated in or led R&D efforts in academy and defense. Israel has a B.Sc. in physics and computer science from Bar-Ilan University and a M.Sc. in computer science from the Open University of Israel.
Nigel Clark
Senior VP, Business Development
During his career, Nigel has held management positions in a number of FTSE 100 finance, insurance and information technology organizations in both Paris and London. Immediately prior to ClickSoftware, he was a co-founder and Commercial Director of inMezzo Mobile Technology, providing security management software and consulting to business and government institutions. Prior to that, Nigel worked at Reuters where he led one of the eCommerce workstreams tasked with delivering secure financial and market data products over the internet. Nigel holds an MA in Management from St. Andrews University, Scotland.
Danny Korach
Vice President of Research & Development
Danny was appointed to his current position in February 2007. He has been part of ClickSoftware since 1991, having held several software development management positions. Danny has managed the Engineering Department since 2001 and became Director of Engineering in 2005. Prior to that, he served as a Chief Architect in that department. Danny holds a B.Sc. in mathematics and computer science from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
Hagit Efrati
Vice President, Human Resources
Hagit joined ClickSoftware in 2005 as Director of Global Human Resources and was promoted to VP HR in January 2008. Over her career, she has held various HR positions in several startup companies. Prior to joining ClickSoftware, Hagit was Director of HR in Israel Seed Partners, a venture capital firm. She also served as a career consultant and an organizational consultant with leading Israeli companies. Hagit is a graduate of Hebrew University with a Bachelor of Psychology, and of Haifa University with an MA in Occupational Psychology.
Ateret Levin
Vice President of Professional Services
From December 2004, Ateret served as Director of PS Asia Pacific. Prior to that, she served in the roles of Project Manager in the PS group and QA Manager in the R&D group. Ateret holds a B.A. in Law and Economics and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
